Scoring compares your resume with one job ad. You get two numbers and a list of words from the job ad. Here is how to get your first one.
Before you start
You need your resume added to your account, and a paid plan. Scoring is the first paid step. The job board, the editor, the designs, the country formats and the downloads are free. The score is not.
The cheapest way in is the one-off credit for three euros. It covers one tailored resume from start to finish.
Step by step
- Open the job board and find a job you would really apply to.
- Open the job. It shows how you would apply before you do anything.
- Press the button to tailor or score for this job. It opens the tailoring screen with that job attached.
- Read the two numbers at the top first.
- Then read the word list underneath. Start with the middle column.
The two numbers

They are separate because each one needs a different action. A low Fit means: apply somewhere else. A low resume readiness with a good Fit is the case this product is built for. You can do the job, but your resume is hiding it.

The word list
Every skill or requirement in the job ad goes into one of three groups.
- have. It is in your resume, with proof. No action needed.
- near. You have done it, but your words do not match the job ad's words. Always start here. It is the quickest way to improve your score.
- miss. It is not in your resume at all. Maybe you have never done it. That is about Fit, so leave it. Or maybe you did it but left it out. Then add it to your main resume, and it helps every future application.
What happens next
Your resume stays as it is until you ask. Scoring does not change your resume, does not download anything, and does not record an application.

Is the match score free?
No. The score, your ranking, the minimum-match filter and the details all need a paid plan. Reading the jobs stays free.
What is the cheapest way to see one?
The one-off credit for three euros. You pay once for one tailored resume. It does not repeat, and an unused credit never expires.
Why is there no score on this listing?
We never score a job from its title alone. If a job ad has no description we can read, we do not score it, because the number would be meaningless.
Does the employer see this number?
No. We work it out in your browser, from their job ad. The score is not sent to them.
