Create an account and upload your resume
Sign in with Google or Microsoft, add your resume, and check what we read. Four steps. Most people skip step three, so do not.
Four steps. It takes about ten minutes, and most of that is reading what we took from your own resume.
1. Open the app and sign up
Go to the app and press Sign in at the top. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft. The first time, this makes your account. After that, the same button signs you in.
2. Upload one resume
Open Resume in the menu on the left (on a phone, it is under More at the top). Then press Upload or replace it. A PDF or a Word file both work.
Upload the resume you really send to employers. Do not make a shorter copy for this. We build everything from what is in it, so a shorter copy gives you a weaker tailored resume.
The file is read in this browser, and the file itself is never sent anywhere. Because you are signed in, the text we read is saved to your account, so you can open it on another computer.
3. Check what we read (the "parse")
Open Resume, then Check what was read. We call this the "parse". It just means how we read your resume and split it into parts. Most people skip this step, but it is the one worth doing.
It shows what we read: your name, contact details, each job with its employer and dates, the bullet points under each job, education, skills and languages. Compare it with your own resume and fix anything that is wrong.

Anything wrong here stays wrong in every score, every tailored resume and every filled-in form after it.
4. Choose where you are applying
Open Resume, then Country, language and design. You choose three things here: the country you are applying in, the language of your resume, and how it looks.
The country really matters. Rules about photos, length and section headings are different across European countries. We build your resume to fit the rules of that country, not one style for everyone.
What you have now
You have an account, and we have read your work history. You can already download your resume as a PDF or a Word file for free.

Which file formats can I upload?
A PDF or a Word document. Either way, the check screen shows you what we read from it.
Why do I need an account to add my resume?
Because we save the text we read to your account. That way your resumes and applications are there on any computer. The file stays on your computer. You can try the sample resume without an account.
Do I have to upload a resume to browse?
No. You can read all the jobs with no account at all. You need your resume when you want a score, a tailored version or a filled-in form.
What happens to the file itself?
It is read in your browser and never sent anywhere. The text is different: once you are signed in, we save the text of your resume to your account. When you approve or download a tailored resume, we save its text too, with the job it was made for. That way you can open them on another computer. You can download or delete all of it on the account screen.
Do step three before anything else
Checking what we read takes two minutes. It makes sure we tailor your real history, not a broken copy of it.
