What the student does

Career Finder: 12 to 15 minutes of questions on what they enjoy and how they like to work. Their CV counts too. They get jobs and sectors that fit, with the reasons.
Sector Explorer, Try the Job and A week in the job: see ten sectors from the inside, then do realistic tasks from a role, such as finance, marketing, data, consulting or audit.
Tests: timed numerical, verbal and logical reasoning, situational judgement for banking, consulting, consumer goods and technology, game-based tests, Excel and critical-thinking tests, and an assessment-centre simulator.
Offer and negotiation: typical starting pay by job and country, a negotiation simulator, and up to three offers side by side.
Alumni connect: former students you invite answer ten questions about their job. Students read them and can ask for a chat. Contact details are never shared.

You invite your own alumni to Alumni connect, from the same screen. Career Lab activity is not on your dashboard yet. Career Lab is in English only for now, and says so on screen.

What the student does

Score and fix: upload the CV they already have. Every line is checked for results, numbers, length and how easy it is to read, and the fix is named in plain words.
Match to a job: paste a job ad and see what the posting asks for and what the CV already shows.
Tailor, with approval: the CV is tailored to that job. Each change sits next to the line it replaces, and the student approves it or drops it.
No invented lines. A number, employer, skill or date the student never wrote is removed, and they are told why.
Pick the country, and the CV follows the country’s own format, from the UK and Germany to France, Spain, the Nordics, the US and Singapore. A second version in the local language can be made on request.

What the student does

Jobs from employers: search jobs taken mostly from employers’ own career sites, plus a few public job boards. Every job says where it came from.
Scored against their CV: each job gets a match score. Filters for graduate programmes, internships, country and function.
Salary is shown when the ad states it, and visa sponsorship when the ad says so. We never guess either one.
Job alerts: save up to 10 searches. New jobs that match a saved search are sent by email.

What the student does

One tracker: each application is kept with its stage, the exact CV and letter that went to that employer, and what needs chasing. It exports to Excel or CSV.
Forms filled: the Chrome extension fills application forms on employers’ sites from the student’s own details, when the student clicks. On JobTeaser it shows the match score on each listing. The student checks the form and presses submit.
It never runs on LinkedIn. We never log in to LinkedIn or apply through it for a student.
Cover letters for a job, and short messages to recruiters for eleven common situations, filled in from the CV. Anything we cannot fill in is asked, never made up.

What the student does

Questions for them: built from their own CV or from a job ad, with tips on how to answer.
On camera: answer and get feedback on pace, filler words, pauses, eye contact and framing.
Your answer, line by line: vague words, filler words, sentences that run on and the shape of the answer. On request, grammar corrections and a clearer version that uses only what the student said.
One-way video interview (HireVue-style): a question, a fixed time to think, then the camera records. Sets for investment banking, markets, consulting and graduate schemes. Feedback comes at the end.
A case interview that answers what the student says, and quick drills: mental maths, market sizing, chart reading, structuring and a STAR story check.
Peer mock interviews: students who want to practise find a partner, from their own school first.

What your careers office sees

Practice is private to the student and is not on your dashboard. Practice videos stay in the student’s browser and are not uploaded. To turn speech into text, Chrome may send the audio to Google, and the screen says so before the student starts.

LinkedIn profile review

What the student does

Scored out of 100: paste the profile, or the PDF LinkedIn lets them download. It is scored out of 100 on what recruiters search for, with rewrites to consider.
Checked against the CV: titles and dates that do not match are flagged.
We never log in to LinkedIn or read it for them.

Every figure names the table it was read from. A figure we could not count is written in words, never shown as a zero. A new licence does not read as a failing cohort.

How it is set up

Your domain, your seats, your features

Your email domain decides who gets a seat. Students sign in with their school Google or Microsoft account, or their school email address.
A seat cap you choose. When every seat is taken, the next student is told to ask your careers office for more.
The features you choose, switched on for your school by us. The dashboard lists what is included and what is not, and a locked screen tells the student it is not part of your licence.
Only staff you name can open the dashboard. Anyone else gets the same message whether or not your school uses us.
The product is in English, French, German and Spanish. Career Lab is in English for now.

Worth knowing

Not in a campus licence: auto-apply, where software sends applications for the student, and the career map. Both are in the Pro Max plan only. The dashboard covers your whole school and does not split students by programme yet.

Data and honesty

No invented lines

Every word of a tailored CV is checked against what the student wrote. A number, employer or date they never wrote is removed, and they are told.

The student approves every change

Each change sits next to the line it replaces. A change is saved only when the student approves it.

Where the data lives

The CV file is read in the student’s browser and never uploaded. With an account, the CV text and approved versions are saved to it. Students can download or delete what we hold.

LinkedIn is never automated

We never log in to LinkedIn or apply through it. The profile review works from text or the PDF the student downloads themselves.

A MiM student often applies to many schemes in three or four countries, each with its own CV rules and its own tests. Involve Resume keeps all of that in one place.

Who built it

Built by someone who reads student CVs

Involve Resume was built by Aditya Shashidhar, an EDHEC Business School alumnus with an exchange at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He worked at Hindustan Petroleum before business school, then at Google and Amadeus, in consulting in Germany, in strategy roles in France and on leadership programmes in the Nordics. He reviews a lot of student CVs, and the same three problems come up every time: a CV not tailored to the role, duties instead of results, and the wrong format for the country.
